Well i don't really like to read all that much anymore. When i do read i enjoy reading Stephen King and Robin Cook.I mainly dislike writing because i just don't like to write. I honestly don't know how writing is going to benefit me in my career. Reading will help me because i will have to read alot of installation manuals on little things.

My name is Cornell McBee I'm a student at ECPI college. I love to read fiction books and for my spare time I love to read comic books. I am a fan of Steven King horror books mostly because I love the thrill and suspense of the story.

I'm not a big reader, however writing has always been intriguing to me, so I would probably introduce myself as a writer. I've played around a little bit with poetry-but more or less for song writing purposes. I hope that by taking this class, I can learn to develop the skills I need to acquire to be able to set my words to music. However, that's just a hobby right now. (My major is actually web-design!) :D

to start out I don't like stories! I like to read facts. I would rather read a science text book than harry potters best seller. But I like to write short stories and poems for my own enjoyment. I don't think my poems will help me further my career but being interested in the facts will help me keep up to date on new medical advances. so if you here anything new tech I'm always interested. Most people would say when asked, “who is your favorite writer” would answer with things like Emily Dickson just because they want to seem deep, but my favorite writer has always been myself. Even though most of the world doesn’t know who I am but just wait. I always have said, “Everyone loves me, some people don’t know it yet.” When I finish writing my life-based novel, I will be on everyone’s best sellers list.

Well, I don't really read a lot, but I tried. Therefore,I still have the difficulty of reading and writing because I just can't put that words in to the writing. Hopefully, this class will help me to correct my problem.

My name is Ron. I normally don't read too much but if it's something I'm into i wouldn't mind picking it up. I don't mind writing but normally don't do it very much.

Hello sorry I am the last one to post, but better late then never. My name is William Castor. Please call me Cody. I guess you can call me more of a reader than a writer. I like more the fantasy type books. To me dragons and swords are far more intresting than reading about people's lives. Although throughout high school I always finished reading our text book from cover to cover by the end of the first semester or so. I know that I need to work on my writing. It is an mandatory part of the career that I have chosen. But for now I am not too thrilled about it.

Hi my name is Michele but my friends call me Chel. I am an average reader of mystery and crime novels. James Patterson is such a great novelist. He keeps me on the edge of my chair. I do keep up with current events dealing with criminal law. I am amazed the way a criminal mind works. I really feel that with the experience in reading the material this will open my mind to different avenues with the criminal mind. Reading broadens the mind. When I find a good novel I hate to put it down.

Writing is on of my weaknesses: and as for reading, I’ll read Popular Mechanics, National Geographic, and every thing written by Maddox. The only thing I write is maybe e-mails and inventories from work. I know reading and writing is very important for my career and professional development for communication skills and how I represent my self through my writing.

Well I don’t know if I am what you would call a writer, but I do a lot of it and it’s mostly poems. I do a lot of reading. Books that I like to read are full of poems. I just started reading Nicolas Sparks and he wrote the Message in a Bottle and thats not a poem book but it's something new that i'm reading. I think reading and writing will fit into my career by helping me write my presentations for work or schedules for my employees. If my boss wants me to close a deal from a billion dollar company I have to be able to read and write or I will never be able to hold a job, I probably will not get a promotion at work or even have any respect. Employers these days and time want people who know what they are doing. I need to know how to write because engineers engineer the world.

I am Juan Jimenez attending ECPI. I enjoy non-fiction and anything to do with politics. I currently prefer to write about how life should be and how i would like it to be on a my spare time. To further understand the world of reading and writing will open new doors to the great career.
